On indian food article (comm 1)

Here, in the said article, the writer stated the different types of Indian cuisine. Although India is one country, it has a wide variety of culture and taste, and these differences are shown in the cuisines in different parts of India. There are four parts of India: North, South, East and West India, each of which have different types of cooking techniques and delicacies. But despite these differences, India is still one because of the unity within its people, regardless of which part of India they came from.

Calories on filipino Food (comm 1)

First off, I would like to start on the article "Calories in Filipino foods" by Dr. Philip Chua. Here, in this article, Dr. Chua stated how to compute one's total calorie requirement (TCR). In the later part of his article, he stated certain physical activities and how much calories would be burnt in a certain amount of time in doing such activities. But, his point was not actually on the activities that would help burn calories. What he was trying to say in his whole article is that "Be watchful on what you eat", because as Filipinos, we tend to eat food without knowing its nutritional content, as long as it's food, then it should be eaten. But Dr. Chua was saying that we should be more watchful in our daily calorie intake, especially when we are not the "physically active" type of people. But that doesn't mean we HAVE to avoid eating stuff, it's just that, everything in this world needs to maintain balance.
